Our Philosophy

Preserving tooth form and function by emulating nature with every detail.

With great care and maintenance, the distinct and beautiful orchid can live to be 100 years old. Like teeth, orchids have a natural immune system prone to changes in their environment. Variations in temperature, lighting, and nutrients can challenge their health, but with proper care and attention, these amazing plants can live a lifetime.

Your teeth deserve to live a lifetime.

By studying and applying lessons from orchids and other wondrous lifeforms, the Biomimetic Dentist can replicate nature, preserve tooth vitality, and increase tooth longevity. Our clinicians understand the tooth is part of a system, and any changes to that system are not insignificant.

Tooth decay is the most common chronic disease affecting fifty percent of our nation’s youth by age 19 (NIH, 2000). At Revive, we believe the first touch on a tooth is the most significant, driven by careful diagnosis and consideration for our patients’ long-term oral and overall health.

The First Cut is the Hardest

Our patients understand the financial and biologic cost of dentistry.

Surgical intervention should be considered with great care and consideration. Our clinicians evaluate, recommend, and execute dental treatment no differently than they would expect for themselves and their families. Imagine an orthopedic surgeon recommending amputation of an arm or leg due to a minor scratch or fracture…

Unfortunately, the current trend in dentistry is weighing toward large scale, high-volume, insurance-driven practices. Such practice models thrive on procedure-based reimbursements from dental “insurance” companies, which often incentivize faster, poor quality, and/or more aggressive treatment recommendations.

At Revive, we value the coveted doctor-patient relationship, patient autonomy, and ethical, evidence-based treatment. We believe that healthcare should be free of third-party influences and production goal-oriented pressures, which can compromise the trust and confidence we strive to build and maintain with our patients.

With a care-focused practice philosophy, you can be sure your independence is preserved while receiving the best possible, long-lasting care we have to offer.

“Dr. Walker is very intelligent in his field and seems to have a real passion to help, which in my experience isn’t always what you get with a dentist… truly above and beyond.”
